The End Times

 King Solomon in his wisdom stated that "there is a season and time for everything under the sun, a time to be born and a time to die" (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2).. Time is one of the greatest mysteries that has baffled scientists and philosophers for centuries. The Oxford English dictionary describes time as "a period of minutes, hours, days etc."  This description does not explain what actually time is but rather how time is measured. You cannot stop time, neither can you invest time nor lend time in order to get more of it in the future, the best you can do is to spend time wisely. Time without God in the full picture is very troubling, it is meaningless, as Solomon would have it.


Ravi Zachariahs states that, we live in time which is a punctuated calibration of change for us. I wouldn't venture into trying to describe the meaning of time but rather try to give a dull picture of the end times. My idea of time is derived from the Bible, which clearly states that time belongs to God hence our time is in God's hands. Jesus claimed to be the author of time (Alfa and Omega) and confirmed it through various miracles that he performed, hence he is the only one who has the final say regarding the end time. Jesus said that "heaven and earth will pass away" (Matthew 24:35), Apostle Paul also affirmed that "this world in its present form is passing away"(I Corrinthians 7:35).

What did Jesus say about the end time? In Matthew 24, Jesus gave a graphic picture of the end time with clear details but in Matthew 24:37 Jesus likened the end time with the days of Noah. It is wise therefore to look into the days of Noah so that we can get a clear picture of what Jesus is talking about.

120 years before the deluge in the days of Noah, God chose to save Noah because he was a righteous man. The rest of mankind and everything that was on land perished, why did God destroy everything with water? Because of sin. What was the sin? In Genesis chapter 6 an account is given of how when men began to increase so did evil. I know that scholars hold different views concerning Genesis chapter 6 and that my view here may not be accepted by everyone but I ask you to follow through and see if it makes sense.

The bible states (Genesis 6:4) that "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." (emphasis mine). It is true that the union of the sons of God produced giants and as a result there was much wickedness on the face of the earth. What baffled me about the account is the fact that giants were there even after the flood, how did they come back after the destruction in Noah's time? Here is my theory, I know that am conjecturing and am open for correction. After the flood giants emerged again in Canaan, but before the giants emerged, God gave a signal in (Genesis 15:16) "But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full." By the time the Israelites were freed from their bondage in Egypt Canaan was full of giants again. God gave Moses and Joshua orders to exterminate them. Where did they come from? I strongly believe that the Amorites got in touch with the fallen angels and through their union again giants were born. The Amorites might have aroused the spirits of the dead giants through necromancy which God forbade the Israelites from doing.

In (I Samuel 28:13) "And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth."KJV. It is evident that there were people with the ability to sermon the dead in those days and I strongly believe that that was the sin of the Amorites, to bring to life that which was banished by God.

After the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are told in Revelation 1:18 that Christ now has the keys of where the dead are locked in "I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. This I believe, means that the control that the enemy had over the spirits of the dead was snatched from him. This will be the devil's end time game, to bring up again the "giants" back again. In Daniel 2:43 God says something very interesting about the last days..."And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay." This is what the devil is planning to do before the end comes. He is trying to mingle with the seed of men as he did in Genesis 6 and this is what will usher in the final day.

For those who follow up on what is happening in Holywood, you will notice that most of the blockbuster movies that are being released convey the theme of alien vs man co-existing together. Movies like The Transformers, After Earth, Avator, Avengers and many more are preparing people to believe in and accept aliens when the time comes. Sometimes back, the late Dr. Stephen Hawkins donated $100 million dollars to NASA for space explorations to search for alien life, he believed in the existence of aliens more than God. These and many more examples clearly shows that the enemy is preparing for the end times. Currently majority of the top scientist have abandoned the evolution theory and are now shifting to another hypothesis known as Panspermia hypothesis which states that  that the "seeds" of life exist all over the Universe and can be propagated through space from one location to another. They argue that since life is too complex to have evolved, aliens seeded life in our universe. They would rather believe in aliens than what the bible says.

All the signs are telling that we are in the end times, may you be like the sons of Issachar who could tell the signs of times.
